ILAD starts accreditation of associate degree programs

The ILAD Communication Studies Association has initiated the process of accrediting associate degree programs commencing in 2023. During this year, interested parties may submit applications for accreditation evaluations pertaining to three distinct types of associate degree programs.

It is important to note that the deadline for Vocational Schools, encompassing Radio Television, Public Relations, and Graphic Design associate degree programs, to apply for accreditation to ILAD in 2023 is April 14th.

The pre-established accreditation fees for the 2023-2024 period have been determined by the ILAD Board of Directors on January 12th, 2023, and are identified by reference number 2023/01.

Furthermore, the expenses associated with the transportation and accommodation of the ILEDAK accreditation teams during the institutional visits pertaining to the applicant's associate degree programs will be borne by the respective institution.

The following table presents the specific accreditation fees for each program to be evaluated.

The respective application forms must be duly completed and submitted to ilad@ilad.org.tr no later than April 14, 2023. Applications received via the designated ILAD email address will be evaluated in the order of their submission, taking into consideration the date of application.

The deadline for institutions to inform ILAD about associate degree programs eligible for evaluation, as well as for submitting the appropriate contractual proposals, is April 28, 2023. This deadline pertains to the general accreditation process to be conducted by ILAD in 2023.

On May 12, 2023, the deadline for the approval and submission of contract proposals for accreditation applications is expected to occur.

Subsequently, on August 25, 2023, institutions are required to submit their Self-Evaluation Reports for the associate degree programs they have applied for accreditation in 2023 to the International Accreditation Board (ILAD) through digital means.

By September 15, 2023, ILAD will notify the relevant institutions of any deficiencies identified during the preliminary examination of the Self-Assessment Reports sent to ILAD.
Consequently, institutions are required to address and correct these deficiencies, with a deadline of October 13, 2023, for the digital delivery of the revised reports to ILAD.

On November 24, 2023, the institutions will be informed of the evaluation teams assigned by the International Evaluation and Accreditation Council (İLEDAK).
