The ILEDAK Workshop for Team Leaders and Co-Leaders was held with the participation of 41 individuals

The workshop, held online on Saturday, September 27, featured briefings on the implementation of accreditation activities by ILAD President Prof. Dr. Aysel Aziz, ILEDAK President Prof. Dr. Recep Tayfun, ILEDAK Vice President Prof. Dr. Senem Duruel Erkılıç, ILAD Board Member Prof. Dr. Nilüfer Timisi, ILAD Secretary General Füsun Özbilgen, and ILAD Financial Advisor Selma Saçmalıoğlu. Topics included team leaders’ duties, preparations before accreditation visits, program evaluation stages, and financial processes.

At the opening of the inaugural Workshop for Team Leaders, ILAD President Prof. Dr. Aysel Aziz provided guidance on program planning for the workflow of team leaders and co-leaders. Prof. Dr. Aziz emphasized the importance of planning, process management, and coordination in the accreditation process.

ILEDAK Vice President Prof. Dr. Senem Duruel Erkılıç delivered a presentation on the pre-visit period and the principles of consistency, highlighting the need for a systematic approach to the process.

ILEDAK President Prof. Dr. Recep Tayfun explained the critical role of meetings with the rector and administrative staff in accreditation visits, sharing with participants how these meetings contribute to the process and its operations.

ILAD Board Member Prof. Dr. Nilüfer Timisi provided information on the preparation of the Program Evaluation Report (PER), exit statements, and behavioral dimensions, detailing key aspects to consider in reporting.

ILAD Secretary General Füsun Özbilgen and ILAD Financial Advisor Selma Saçmalıoğlu gave briefings on budget management and expenditures. The program also included experience sharing by team leaders and co-leaders, evaluations of accreditation processes, and planning for the upcoming period.

The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, and participants were wished success in their respective duties.
