Accreditation Decisions for 2024 Applications Have Been Announced
İLAD has approved and publicly announced the accreditation decisions made by İLEDAK regarding the undergraduate and associate degree programs that applied in 2024.
All evaluations concerning the undergraduate programs in communication and the associate degree programs of vocational schools, which applied to the Communication Research Association (İLAD) for General Evaluation, Re-evaluation, Interim Evaluation, and Evidence-Based Evaluation in 2024, have been completed.
The Evaluation Reports, which were preliminarily reviewed by the İLEDAK Consistency Commission, were subjected to extensive discussions and deliberations in four separate sessions by İLEDAK members. The accreditation decisions resulting from these sessions were subsequently reviewed and approved by the İLAD Board of Directors.
Programs applying for General Evaluation were granted either conditional accreditation, requiring a follow-up visit in two years if deficiencies were identified, or full accreditation for five years if they met the required standards.
Programs that applied for interim evaluation and successfully addressed the deficiencies observed during the general evaluation were granted an additional three years of accreditation.
Programs undergoing an interim evaluation visit that were found to have not yet fully addressed their deficiencies were granted a one-year conditional accreditation, provided they demonstrate within one year that these deficiencies have been resolved.
Accordingly, the list of programs that have received or whose accreditation has expired has been updated and made publicly available on the İLEDAK website.
The updated accreditation decisions have also been incorporated into the accreditation page recently developed by YÖKAK and confirmed with YÖK.
